2.3. ECONOMIC ESTIMATION In relation to the economic estimation, it is necessary to consider some points that allow a better understanding of the document. The estimation is structured in chapters and subchapters, creating a division according to buildings and adjacent common areas: -GIRALDA -TRIANA -ALHAMBRA -DOÑANA -MEZQUITA

These are divided into several subchapters, of which the following can be commented:

  1. (Building name)- Previous actions/Medium auxiliaries In this subchapter, the different means of elevation and/or scaffolding necessary to carry out the works were incorporated. Briefly: • Telescopic hoist with articulated arm, diesel motor, 21 m maximum working height.
    • Volume scaffolding, formed by 200 m³ of galvanized steel tube structure in hot form, 48.3 mm diameter and 3.2 mm thickness, and 100 m² working platform, located up to 20 m maximum height, interior staircase with trapdoor and rear handrail with two bars and footrest, and front handrail with one bar.
    • Normalized tubular scaffolding, multidirectional type, up to 20 m maximum working height. Composed of 60 cm wide working platforms, disposed every 2 m of height, interior staircase with trapdoor, rear handrail with two bars and footrest, and front handrail with one bar

  1. (Building name)- Envelope It collects all the actions related to the envelope of the building itself: • Restoration of terraces with leaks. • Restoration of gardeners with leaks. • Testing of services of both elements. • Demolition and restoration of cantilevered cornices (includes removal of metal purlin and formation of gutters) • Sealing of thermal expansion joints. • General painting of facades and hardware.

  2. (Building name)- Common areas This is the only subchapter that presents a lower level of chapters. It encompasses the works to be carried out in the common areas, not included in the envelope: • Painting in common areas: includes the painting of walls and other bodies in the surroundings of the buildings. Includes hardware. • Flooring in common areas: includes the complete removal of the pavement and the replacement of a similar one, but Class 3 according to CTE DB SUA • Wall-Acera. It includes the demolition and replacement of the retaining wall in the area where there are affected elements (Giralda and Doñana)

  3. (Building name)- Safety and health and waste management of demolition and construction
    This subchapter collects an estimation in relation to the safety and health measures and the correct management of waste. For this, estimated values are taken based on various construction treaties and the personal experience of the one who drafts this report, taking into account in each case: • Safety and health: 1.5-2% of the PEM • Waste management of demolition: 3.5-4% of the PEM
